                    Epipremnum aureum
 
Pothos Baskets We grow thousands and thousands every year! In the summer, our Pothos baskets grow long vines. The vines are cut off of the baskets and the " eyes" are then cut from the vines. These eyes are planted to produce new Pothos baskets. When we cut our own eyes rather than buy them from "off shore" sources, we can plant them when they are fresh. The eyes undergo very little stress. They are cut and immediately planted and cared for! The result is a superior, healthier and more vigorous product. 

We grow hundreds of thousands of Pothos plants every year, producing them from cuttings grown here at New Nursery^®Inc. In the winter, because the vines grow slower, we produce them from cuttings we  buy from Guatemala. http://www.americanfoliageintl.com   Here is an interesting picture of a skilled person cutting Pothos "eyes" (an eye consists of the leaf and a portion of the stem). This unit (leaf and stem) is used to propagate Pothos.
