elcome to New Nursery^®Inc.

Established in 1954, and located on the shores of beautiful Lake Henniger, New Nursery^®Inc. is a grower and shipper of wholesale foliage plants. The nursery currently has 150,000 square feet of covered growing area. We are proud of our 52 year history of continuous service and  satisfied customers. On the following pages, you will see what we do and how we do it. You will also find several links to the suppliers of  materials and services we use to grow foliage plants. 

In addition to our greenhouses, New Nursery^®Inc. has an area dedicated to packing and shipping your orders. It has a full size loading dock. Truckers can back up to our loading dock and roll your order right into their trailers from our warehouse floor. The picture on the left shows a tractor trailer backed up to our loading dock. The floor of the trailer is level with the floor of our warehouse for easy loading! 

Just to the south of the warehouse ( and behind the truck in the picture above) is our emergency generator. Producing enough power to run the nursery, office, and shipping areas during any power shortage in the winter or summer, it has proven its value more than once. The generator starts automatically when the power goes out and continues to run until the power is restored. It's a great insurance policy!

Our greenhouses are warmed by steam heat. A new boiler was installed this year as a backup. We now have two boilers.   Here is a picture of the new boiler. It is fired  by natural gas and does a great job of producing steam heat. Our original boiler is getting older. This  is additional insurance against cold weather and the occasional Florida freeze. 

The wall of our boiler room had to be opened in order to get the new boiler in the building. After several days of work and lots of welding and electrical wiring, The boiler was ready to go. Then came the tough part. We had to put the building back together
When people look at this huge boiler and ask how we moved it in the building, we tell them we knocked a wall out to move it in!

Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 5:00 PM
Closed Saturday, Sunday and major holidays.
